Muster Alphabete - Stuttgart - 1883

This is one of very few German books that are currently held in the Lettering Library collection. Muster Alphabete is a late 1800's gem that rivals and even outshines many of the American alphabet books of its day with gorgeous ornate samples and beautiful initial letters and monograms.
